About Us

OUR MISSION

Fellowship exists to love God, love others, and make disciples.

OUR VISION

Worship

All throughout the Bible, believers are called to worship together. From young to old, we were never meant to worship alone. At Fellowship, we believe that corporate worship is a Biblical mandate for Christ’s church. Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." We have a deep desire to bring glory to God through corporate singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and preaching

Community

Our experience has shown that those who are involved in some sort of smaller group at Fellowship are more likely to have a growing relationship with Jesus and a sense of belonging in the church. Life is best lived in community and fellowship with one another. God’s people are a gathering people and in our gathering together, we make it a priority to grow together. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” When believers operate in a community with a commitment to helping one another grow and mature in their faith walk, lives are changed.

Service

It’s obvious as we look through Scripture that sacrificial service is the call for all believers. Jesus is our example of sacrificial service born from a spirit of humility. We believe that each of us has been designed by God with certain spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personalities, and experiences. Every member of Fellowship has been designed by God to contribute to the mission of Fellowship; loving God, loving others, and making disciples.

Mission

Fellowship believes that no follower of Jesus is exempt from His commission to go, so all Christians are missionaries. Whatever context you’re in, you should be about disciple-making. Jesus commissioned his followers before he ascended to heaven. Matthew 28:19 says, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Missions and evangelism are the means by which the Gospel is spread across cultures and around the world. Some are called to evangelize at home and some are called to sell everything and move to a foreign place to make disciples and plant churches. All are called to live out and spread the message of the gospel with the sole purpose of inviting others to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We believe this is expressed through Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Whatever context you find yourself in, the commission from Jesus is to make disciples.
